Zlig Intra-Articular Cruciate Ligament Replacement Technique (CrCL)
The Zlig procedure is a revolutionary technique designed to replace the cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) with an artificial ligament using the tunnel-tunnel method. In this procedure, the ligament is securely anchored in both the tibia and Os femoris through drill channels, fixed with specially developed cannulated interference screws. These screws are precisely positioned using a guiding wire to ensure accurate alignment and avoid deviations.
One of the key advantages of the Zlig technique is that it avoids irreversible damage and offers reproducible results due to a rapid learning curve. This course provides an in-depth understanding of the technique, ensuring participants gain the necessary skills to perform it with confidence.
