Introduction to Endoscopy

Join us for this 2 day education experience
This two day course is intended to provide basic training on endoscopy for novice endoscope users. It includes both lecture and hands on components using models and cadavers. The course is designed for veterinarians with no or minimal endoscopy experience; or more experienced operators looking to develop new techniques, troubleshoot issues, or expand their endoscopy offerings. By the end of the course, attendees will be familiar with endoscope handling and care, basic operation, and techniques such as foreign body retrieval, biopsy collection, and bronchoalveolar lavage. Upper and lower GI endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and bronchoscopy will be covered, however the focus will be on the upper GI tract and lower respiratory tract.
