Weitlaner Retractor
Veterinary retractor and blades have downward-pointing, curved prongs that help retain their position in a spread wound. Blades open when the ratcheted handles are closed. Cam ratchet mechanism (self-locking) allows the surgeon to have both hands free. The Weitlaner Retractor is a tool used during surgery to hold back tissue and expose the surgical site.
