Basic Ophthalmic Exam and Diagnostics

Tips and Tricks to perform a basic comprehensive ocular examination and interpret findings.  Discussion of the basic ocular examination and diagnostics using tools commonly found in general practice.  Learn to use your equipment to its full potential and interpret findings to aid in diagnosis and treatment.  Lecture with practical lab to follow.  The lab will include an examination of normal and abnormal patients.  Performing basic ophthalmic diagnostics including Schirmer tear test, fluorescein dye, and intraocular pressures.
