Charcoal & Montmorillonite a naturally occurring tri-lamellar smectite clay providing superior coverage and absorptive properties. (compare to Kaolin) Binds toxins.
Probiotic:
Cylactin® Enterococcus faecium 10 Billion CFU/g to recolonize the gut, suppressing growth of potential pathogenic bacteria, returning beneficial bacteria.
Electrolytes:
A balanced blend compensating for the for losses that occur during gut disturbances, helps return normal fluid intake.
Energy:
FOS, Dextrose and Sorbitol a multifaceted source of immediately available energy for the animal and enables the supplemented gut flora to thrive. Available in a 15ml dial syringe.
Montmorillonite is a naturally occurring tri-lamellar smectite clay powder with superior coverage and absorptive properties to that of traditional Kaolin, which together with plant-derived powdered charcoal acts as a protectant, coating the inside of the intestinal tract and absorbing irritant agents and toxins.
The addition of electrolytes (sodium chloride & proprionate with potassium & magnesium chlorides) partly compensates for electrolyte loss, and so supports the normal fluid balance during the losses that occur with gut disturbances. Dextrose and sorbitol provide different immediate energy sources to minimise deficits in animals that are not eating during digestive tract upsets. The Probiotic is a lactic acid bacterial culture of live strains of Enterococcus Faecium DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415, at a concentration of 100 x 1,000,000 CFU organisms per g. in order to recolonise the gut and suppressing the growth of potential pathogenic bacteria. Carob Flour and Guar Gum are natural vegetable-derived thickening agents providing a mechanical effect so reducing intestinal transit time during alimentary tract upsets.
